Mohawk's Sales Trainee Program (Residential and Commercial)

Openings are available across the country for this entry-level program which is designed to prepare college graduates for an exhilarating career in sales. Mohawk Industries ranks as one of the Top 5 Training Companies in the United States and supports development of current employees into future leadership roles within the company. During this 12-week program in Calhoun, GA, participants will receive extensive training in the flooring industry and learn what gives Mohawk a competitive advantage above the competition. After successful completion of the program, the Sales Associate will move into a full-time Territory Manager or Account Executive position depending on the department.

The Excellent Candidate will be:

  • Must have received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or similar field
  • Must be willing to train in Calhoun, GA for 12 weeks
  • Able to learn, maintain, and communicate effectively in the field with in-depth knowledge of the company’s diverse business and product lines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Internet Explorer) and the ability to learn and utilize other technology programs
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • A self-motivated individual who has the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate leadership potential in school, community, and/or workplace
  • Interested in Sales as a long-term career path
  • An excellent communicator who enjoys a competitive atmosphere
  • Willing to relocate after the training period
  • Valid state driver’s license
